As we approach the end of the school year, we want to express our gratitude to our students, staff, families, and community partners, because the excellence in IUSD remains a direct reflection of the investment of this entire community.
The IUSD Board of Education, Superintendent Parham, and IUSD leadership would like to recognize our more than 2,000 classified employees for their unwavering dedication and care for our students and families.

Summer break is undoubtedly a time for relaxation and recharging after a busy school year. However, this time of year can also bring about stress and challenges.

Summer break is right around the corner! After a busy school year, we hope your summer break is filled with rest, joy and safety.

Through a partnership with CHOC, the Tsao Family Foundation and OCDE, we have continued to expand our student wellness offerings with the opening of three new WellSpaces for the 2024-25 school year at Vista Verde School and Northwood and Woodbridge high schools.

As we approach the end of the academic year, a time often filled with important events, final projects and key deadlines, remaining informed can help ease the stress that often accompanies a busy school calendar.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ dedicated to open, two-way communication with our community. To help us continue to improve how we connect with you, we have launched a new districtwide Communications Survey that is open now through May 26, 2025.
Students from the District's nationally recognized honors ensemble chorus and orchestra performed in front of a capacity audience. Board President Katie McEwen accepted $2 million check from the Irvine Company to support music, art and science in IUSD.

The April 2025 IUSD Insights is out now! Each month, as part of our commitment to ensuring the IUSD community is well-informed about District priorities, initiatives, successes and challenges, we will share insights, innovations, news and more, while highlighting the many voices that put the "US" at the center of IUSD.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ launching the Early College Program for incoming 9th-grade students starting the 2025-26 school year. Courses are UC/CSU transferable and can lead to IGETC Certification or even an associate’s degree with additional units.
