On Thursday, October 16, IUSD schools and facilities are participating in the Great Shake Out at 10:16 a.m. as part of our earthquake and emergency preparedness training and planning. The purpose of the drill is to practice the safe and orderly evacuation of buildings after a simulated earthquake.
Families can prepare for the event of an emergency by developing a family plan, making sure their information is up-to-date in the Parent Portal and knowing how to stay connected to IUSD.
