IUSD Preparedness
IUSD’s priority is the safety and well-being of our students, staff and community. To this end, our district has embraced a multi-layered approach to safety that includes investments in:

- Safety assessments
- Partnerships with the Irvine Police Department (IPD) and first responders
School staff also receive "Stop the Bleed" training to prepare for emergencies. In such situations, students will stay under school supervision until their authorized guardians pick them up. A valid photo ID is required for student pick-up. Please keep your Parent Portal contact and emergency information up to date. Learn more: iusd.org/SafetyResources
