- The District’s Multi-hazard planning, including intruder-related incidents
- Comprehensive school safety plans
- Safety initiatives and preparedness resources and investments Â
- Emergency planning collaboration groups
- All hazards framework
- Trainings and tabletop exercises
- Access control system
- Lockdown buttons
- Surveillance systems (more than 1,700 cameras districtwide)
- Two-way radios
- Phone systems
- Continuous safety assessments and improvements
- Fencing discussion
- Stop the bleed training and resources
- Communications
- Mental health and wellness initiatives
- Safety initiatives looking forward
- Partnership with the Irvine Police Department
The Irvine Police Department also present information about School Resource Officers and IPD's preparedness efforts.
