Sierra Vista Middle School’s Science Olympiad team won the national title at the 42nd Annual Science Olympiad National Tournament, marking a back-to-back championship title and their 3rd national win.

University High also earned Rookie of the Year honors in Division I, awarded to the highest-scoring team competing at nationals for the first time.

University High School’s Science Bowl team placed eighth in the nation, outperforming more than 60 high school teams from across the United States at the National Competition. 

University secured first place at this year’s virtual “Sponge Bowl,” a competitive event featuring top high school teams from across California and the nation. The team went undefeated across all rounds, consistently outperforming a strong field of competitors.

IUSD students excelled at the recent State Science and Engineering Fair, with 15 students securing top-five positions in their division categories, alongside several special awardees. 

Sierra Vista Middle School’s Science Olympiad team earned the prestigious title of Southern California Science Olympiad Champions. This marks the fifth consecutive title for the team.

More than 70 IUSD students secured top honors at the recent Orange County Science and Engineering Fair (OCSEF) across diverse categories.

The MathCounts competition challenges students to problem-solve and engage in mathematical reasoning through collaborative math group work.

The honor highlights the District’s approach and commitment to championing student voice and ensuring it plays a central role in shaping how AI is implemented across campuses.
