Annika Chatterjee, Nathan Kang, and Sebastian Alexis showcased their research on a global stage, with Chatterjee and Alexis earning awards in their categories.
Eight athletes from each comprehensive high school earned the title of Scholar-Athlete and were nominated for Scholar Athlete of the Year.
IUSD’s Sustainability Team held a poster or video contest to celebrate and recognize Earth Day. This year, there were 40 poster and 8 video winners across grade levels.
Three IUSD high school seniors have been named semifinalists in the 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, placing them among the nation’s top graduating students.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ proud to recognize 876 IUSD graduating seniors who have been awarded the State Seal of Biliteracy for demonstrating language proficiency across 16 different languages.

Through a partnership with CHOC, the Tsao Family Foundation and OCDE, we have continued to expand our student wellness offerings with the opening of three new WellSpaces for the 2024-25 school year at Vista Verde School and Northwood and Woodbridge high schools.
IUSD students made a strong showing at this year’s National History Day-California. In all, nine local student projects emerged as champions at the statewide competition.
Nine students were named recipients of the prestigious $2,500 National Merit Scholarships. This is the second of three rounds in the National Merit Scholarship Program to be awarded.
