As we head into a busy second half of the school year, we would like to remind our community of these important traffic safety reminders in and around school zones. 

IUSD uses ParentSquare as our District and school-wide communication platform, ensuring families stay connected and informed. 

Springbrook Elementary School is home to Orange County and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ only Elementary Montessori program, which serves students in grades 1-6. Join the Montessori Information Night on February 3 from 6-7 p.m. at Springbrook Elementary (655 Springbrook North, Irvine) to learn more about this program.

Dr. Jeff Kim was selected to serve as President of the Board, while Lauren Brooks was selected to serve as Board Clerk. The Board thanked outgoing President Katie McEwen.

The holiday season can undoubtedly be a time of joy and celebration, but it can also be a time of stress and challenges. While staff will enjoy some well-deserved time off, IUSD would like to share reminders and resources to support students and families throughout the winter break.

November is National Gratitude Month! As Thanksgiving approaches, our minds naturally turn towards gratitude and we traditionally express thanks during this season. This month, we would like to remind our students and families how a mindset of gratitude can help build community and foster mutual respect and dignity on campus.

We would like to remind our families that free breakfast and lunch will remain available on all IUSD campuses as usual. If your family is experiencing a temporary gap in food assistance, Orange County food banks and pantries are available to help. 

We would like to remind our students and families of valuable Halloween safety recommendations provided by the Irvine Police Department.
