During the December 14 Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Board of Education Meeting, the Board selected Ira Glasky as the new Board President and Lauren Brooks as the new Board Clerk, which are one-year terms.

During the December 15 Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Board of Education Meeting, incumbents Paul Bokota and Lauren Brooks, and newly-elected Board Member Cyril Yu, took the oath of office.

The Irvine Company issued the latest installment of its $45M commitment to art, music and science, through the Excellence in Education Enrichment Fund grant, for students in grades 4-6.
The IUSD Board of Education unanimously selected Lauren Brooks to serve as president and Betty Carroll to serve as clerk during the December 11 Board Meeting.
The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (IUSD) would like to encourage parent and student participation in the 2018-19 school funding survey, which is part of the 10-month LCAP process.
During the January 23 Board Meeting, the Irvine Company presented IUSD with a check for $2 million as part of the Excellence in Education Enrichment Fund grant, which supports art, music and science education for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students in grades 4-6.
Topics addressed by Superintendent Walker included student centered learning, funding, staff, teaching and learning, facilities, and technology.
