IUSD installed its first solar system in 2010. IUSD currently has solar systems at 37 sites with 13.2 megawatts of generating capacity. IUSD now has the solar infrastructure capacity to reach Carbon Negative emissions. As of June 30, 2023, cumulative energy savings have been estimated at $5.4 million.
