University Student Teacher & Practicum Placements
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ (IUSD) partners with accredited universities and site administrators to place student teachers with exemplary IUSD educators for practicum and student teaching experiences.
Important: Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
Before placements can be considered, universities must have an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IUSD. If your institution does not yet have an MOU, please contact Christine Cochran at ChristineCochran@iusd.org for more information.
Placement Requests
All student teacher placement requests must be submitted by a university placement supervisor or coordinator using the form linked below. We are unable to accept placement requests from students directly, either via email or by contacting school sites.
Once an MOU is in place, the university supervisor may complete the following form to request a student teaching placement within IUSD:
