Applications for substitute teachers are accepted only when posted on our employment Opportunities page AND ON EDJOIN.ORG.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ hires substitute teachers from August through February of each school year. Please visit Edjoin.org/IUSD for all available positions in our district.

The Daily Sub rate is $180/full day (anything over 4 hours) and $95/half day (anything under 4 hours). The long term rate is $220/day and goes into effect on the 16th consecutive day in the same assignment.

• Please be sure to fill out the application completely.
• Attach all required documents.
• If you meet our minimum requirements, we will invite you to a hiring orientation.

If you need to obtain an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, the easiest way to acquire one is to contact the to apply for your permit.

What are the requirements for the 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit?

• Bachelor’s Degree earned
