IUSD AI Platforms

IUSD uses AI tools specifically designed for educational purposes. Each of these tools is governed by stringent data privacy policies, ensuring that personal information and student data are protected. Teachers may also use additional AI tools with students, provided the tool has an active data privacy agreement with the vendor to protect student information. Elementary and  Middle School Students
Elementary and middle school students do not have access to Gemini with their IUSD accounts.


High School Students
High school students have access to the base version of Gemini through their IUSD accounts. Students may use their IUSD Google account to log into Gemini.

Students do not have access to Gemini within the Google Workspace.

An interactive AI tool that makes learning fun and engaging, helping students practice skills, get instant feedback, and explore subjects at their own pace.

Upper Elementary, Middle School, and High School Students 
Teachers are encouraged to create Student Rooms for students in grades 4-12 based on specific instructional needs.

Students cannot access a Student Room unless a teacher shares it with students.

A smart AI assistant designed to support students and teachers by simplifying tasks, offering study help, and fostering creativity while keeping student data secure.

Snorkl is available for all students
Students respond to an activity or assignment using drawings, text, and voice recordings. Once they submit their responses, Snorkl provides personalized feedback with additional thought questions.
