The Building & Construction Trades pathway combines hands-on training and classroom instruction to prepare students for careers in construction, carpentry, and skilled trades. Students gain experience working with tools, materials, and safety practices while also learning about project design, planning, and management. This pathway helps prepare students for direct entry into the workforce, apprenticeships, or further study in construction technology, engineering, or architecture.

Building Industry Technology I: This pathway introduces students to the fundamentals of construction and building design.

This program is offered during the traditional school day at Creekside High School. This program is also available as an after-school program, open to all IUSD students on the Creekside High School campus.

Coastline ROP (Regional Occupation Program): Through our partnership with Coastline ROP, IUSD offers expanded CTE course options after school, such as Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), Pharmacy Technician, Robotics, Retail Sales, and Sports Medicine. These programs include internships to learn career skills and real-world experience that further career and education goals. For more information, see your counselor or visit coastlinerop.org.
