OC Pathways connects educations and industry leaders to equip students for college and career success. As a partner, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, has developed opportunities for students to explore careers in engineering, information technology/digital media, and biotechnology.
There are many opportunities for students to pursue a career through college and university programs. More information on career certificate, 2-year and 4-year degree programs are available from the student’s high school Counselor and the Career Specialists on each of the high school campuses.
Through the IUSD Career Education, teachers have access to many programs available through Vital Link that provide teachers with connections to local business and industry, and career exploration experiences for their students. The annual STEM and Arts Showcase is a great opportunity for students to explore, discover and connect to their future career.
IPSF is a valued supporter of career exploration in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Among the many programs supported by IPSD is support of the Irvine CubeSat STEM Program.
As a career technical education provider, Coastline ROP partners with five school districts in Orange County, CA, to strengthen and broaden the students’ education experience. ROP courses are offered during the high school bell schedule, after school and during the summer. Visit the College and Career Center and meet with the Coastline ROP Career Specialist to find out how to explore a career and received course credit while still in high school.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast serves youth and families in the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange, and Santa Ana. They supply various programs such as College Bound, community events, teen centers, YES Workforce Development, after school programming, and more!
CLAOC develops local talent by connecting education and industry to empower high school and college students to explore careers, gain real-world experience through internships, and build lasting connections with Orange County’s leading companies.
